    Visitor Rules


    Payment for SPA centre services confirms that the visitor has read these Visitor Rules, accepts their terms and conditions, and undertakes to comply with them in full throughout the entire period of stay within the SPA centre.


    In order to ensure guest safety, comfort, and compliance with internal service standards, the visitor shall also confirm their acknowledgment of these Rules by providing a personal signature on the relevant registration form with the SPA centre administrator prior to the commencement of the visit.


     


    1. GENERAL PROVISIONS


    1.1. SIA “Arbat Rīga” is the owner and managing company of the SPA centre “Dzintari SPA”, located within the premises of the hotel “Pegasa Pils SPA Hotel” at Jūras Street 60, Jūrmala (hereinafter — the “SPA Centre”).


    1.2. These Visitor Rules govern the procedure for providing services at the SPA Centre, establish requirements for safety, hygiene, and internal order, and define the rights, obligations, and limits of liability of both visitors and SIA “Arbat Rīga”.


    1.3. The Visitor Rules of the SPA Centre “Dzintari SPA” are designed to ensure a high level of service, guest comfort and safety, as well as to prevent possible misunderstandings, injuries, property damage, and other adverse situations.


    1.4. These Rules are binding for all visitors of the SPA Centre regardless of age. Prior to using the services of the SPA Centre, including the moment of payment for entry, the visitor is obliged to carefully read these Rules, confirm their written consent with the SPA Centre administrator, and comply with them throughout the entire stay within the SPA Centre. These Rules have been developed in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Latvia.


    1.5. The current informational version of the Visitor Rules is available in the registration area of the SPA Centre “Dzintari SPA”, while the full version is published on the website hotelpegasapils.com. In the event that damage is caused to a visitor or third parties due to non-compliance with these Rules or disregard of instructions given by SPA Centre staff, SIA “Arbat Rīga” shall not be held liable for any resulting consequences or losses.


    1.6. The use of SPA Centre services involves a certain level of physical activity and potential risk. The visitor independently decides to use the SPA Centre, taking into account their own health condition, physical fitness, individual characteristics of the body, and swimming skills.


    1.7. SIA “Arbat Rīga” processes personal data in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Latvia and the legal acts of the European Union in the field of data protection. For the purpose of ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and property, video surveillance is carried out within the SPA Centre premises.     1.8. SIA “Arbat Rīga” is responsible for the quality and safety of the services provided in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Latvia, including the Law on Safety of Goods and Services.


     


    2. ENTRY TO THE SPA CENTRE


    2.1. The purchase of an admission confirms that the visitor has read these Rules, accepts their terms and conditions, and undertakes to comply with them in full.


    2.2. Upon receiving a key or an electronic wristband (chip) at registration, the check-in time is recorded at the entrance. Upon leaving the SPA Centre “Dzintari SPA”, the visitor is required to undergo registration again, after which the total duration of stay in the SPA Centre is determined. In case of exceeding the established time limit, an additional fee is charged in accordance with the current price list displayed in the SPA Centre lobby and published on the website hotelpegasapils.com.


    2.3. Children up to and including 16 years of age may visit the SPA Centre “Dzintari SPA” only when accompanied and under the constant supervision of parents or other adult persons. The accompanying person must be at least 18 years old and bears full responsibility for the child’s health, behaviour, and compliance with these Rules.


    2.4. Visitors aged 16 and over may visit the SPA Centre without adult accompaniment. At the same time, parents or legal guardians retain responsibility for the minor’s health condition, behaviour, and compliance with these Rules.


    2.5. Group leaders, upon request, undergo an instruction briefing on the Visitor Rules provided by a representative of the SPA Centre administration. Group leaders are responsible for all members of the group in accordance with these Rules and must ensure a sufficient number of adult accompanying persons to guarantee group safety.


    2.6. Due to high occupancy of the SPA Centre, the administration reserves the right to temporarily restrict or suspend admission of visitors until available capacity becomes free.


    2.7. Visitors are not admitted to the SPA Centre 120 minutes before its closing time.


    2.8. The administration of SIA “Arbat Rīga” reserves the right to change the terms of promotions and special offers at any time without prior notice. In such cases, discounts and preferential conditions may not apply.


     


    3. RESTRICTIONS ON SPA CENTRE ACCESS


    3.1. Access to the SPA Centre “Dzintari SPA” is not permitted for the following categories of persons:


    3.1.1. persons with elevated body temperature, conjunctivitis, skin or other infectious diseases, open wounds, bandages, pronounced skin formations, or other health conditions that may pose a risk to the visitor themselves or to others;


    3.1.2. persons with serious health conditions or impaired well-being, including cardiovascular diseases, acute respiratory infections, head injuries, digestive disorders, and other conditions incompatible with SPA Centre use;


    3.1.3. persons under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other intoxicating substances;


    3.1.4. persons accompanied by animals;


    3.1.5. persons without a valid electronic wristband (chip) or other form of entry authorisation.


    3.2. The administration of the SPA Centre “Dzintari SPA” reserves the right to refuse entry to any person whose presence may pose a threat to public order, safety, sanitary and hygiene requirements, or whose behaviour is contrary to generally accepted moral and behavioural standards.


    3.3. A visitor who violates these Rules, warning signs, informational notices, or instructions issued by SPA Centre staff may be immediately removed from the SPA Centre premises without compensation for the cost of admission.


     


    4. SPA CENTRE USAGE RULES


    4.1. Using a key or an electronic wristband (chip) issued by the administrator upon payment of admission, the visitor is granted access to a locker in the changing room, may open and close it, and may also obtain information about the assigned locker number.


    4.2. Outerwear and outdoor footwear must be left in the cloakroom located in the hotel lobby (Room No. 3103). Regardless of the season, entry into the changing room area and SPA zone wearing outdoor shoes is strictly prohibited.


    4.3. Upon request of SPA Centre staff, the visitor is obliged to present an identity document or other documents confirming age, the right to sign the Personal Responsibility Acknowledgement, or eligibility for a discount.


    4.4. For the purpose of ensuring the safety of visitors and staff, the visitor is obliged, upon request of SPA Centre staff, to present personal belongings for visual inspection. SPA Centre staff are entitled to inspect unattended suspicious bags, belongings, and items, as well as other personal belongings of the visitor, in accordance with applicable legislation.


    4.5. It is prohibited to be barefoot within the SPA Centre premises. Access is permitted only in swim slippers, swimwear, European-style swim trunks, or beach clothing (shorts, T-shirt, robe, skirt, etc.).


    4.6. It is prohibited to wear swimwear or swim trunks with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, metal or glass decorative elements, as well as clothing that fully or partially covers the face.


    4.7. Eyeglasses must be securely fastened with a strap or retaining band.


    4.8. Before entering the swimming pools and saunas, the visitor is obliged to take a shower.


    4.9. For safety reasons, it is prohibited to bring glass items, bags, and hand luggage into the SPA Centre. An exception is made for essential items for infants.


    4.10. Changing clothes and partial or full nudity are permitted exclusively in designated changing cubicles.


    4.11. Swimming pools and saunas must be vacated no later than 15 minutes before the SPA Centre closing time. Shower areas — 10 minutes before closing, and changing rooms — 5 minutes before closing.


    4.12. SIA “Arbat Rīga” does not accept visitors’ belongings for storage and provides only lockers for temporary use. SIA “Arbat Rīga” shall not be liable for loss, damage, or destruction of clothing, documents, mobile phones, valuables, or other items left in the cloakroom, lockers, or any other areas within the SPA Centre premises.


    4.13. SIA “Arbat Rīga” shall not be liable for injuries, damage, or losses resulting from the visitor’s inattention, negligence, impaired health condition, or failure to comply with these Rules, including failure to follow instructions of SPA Centre staff.


    4.14. SIA “Arbat Rīga” shall not be liable for any damage or losses caused to the visitor by actions of third parties or other circumstances for which SIA “Arbat Rīga” is not responsible in accordance with applicable law and these Rules.


    4.15. In the event of injury or property damage, the visitor must immediately contact SPA Centre administration in order to record the place, time, and circumstances of the incident, receive first aid if necessary, and ensure the incident is registered in the relevant logbook.


    4.16. The visitor bears full responsibility for any damage or losses caused to SIA “Arbat Rīga” or third parties.


    4.17. When a child under the age of 10 is in the water, at least one accompanying adult must remain within arm’s reach of the child at all times. This requirement also applies to children’s groups. A penalty of EUR 100 may be applied for non-compliance with this requirement.


    4.18. Any SPA Centre employee is entitled to issue mandatory instructions to visitors regarding compliance with these Rules. Visitors are obliged to follow such instructions.


    4.19. Lockers may be used exclusively during the visit to the SPA Centre. After the visit, lockers are opened and cleared of any remaining belongings. Forgotten items are stored for 3 (three) days and are subsequently disposed of.


    4.20. Food and beverages purchased on the premises of the SPA Centre may only be consumed in designated areas.


    4.21. Changing rooms are intended exclusively for changing clothes. Any other activities not related to changing, including washing clothes or hair dyeing, are strictly prohibited.


    4.22. Swimming equipment brought by visitors must be presented to SPA Centre staff upon request and may only be used with staff authorization.


    4.23. When using saunas with wooden seating, visitors are obliged to use a towel and place it under themselves.


    4.24. Waste must be disposed of exclusively in designated bins.


     


    5. PROHIBITIONS ON THE SPA CENTRE PREMISES


    5.1. shouting, whistling, calling for help without necessity, running, pushing other visitors, or otherwise disturbing public order and safety;


    5.2. being on the SPA Centre premises in a naked state, as well as in inappropriate clothing, including underwear or swimwear that does not comply with generally accepted European standards of decency. Children under the age of 3 and persons with incontinence are permitted to enter the SPA Centre only in waterproof diapers;


    5.3. jumping into pools from the edge, running along pool edges, or otherwise creating hazardous situations;


    5.4. spitting on the floor or into water, as well as relieving natural bodily needs outside designated toilet facilities. A penalty of EUR 50 shall be applied for violation of this prohibition, including cases of children urinating outside sanitary areas;


    5.5. using pools, saunas, or other SPA Centre facilities under the influence of alcohol, narcotic, or other intoxicating substances;


    5.6. persons who cannot swim must independently ensure the use of armbands and/or other personal safety equipment when in the water zone;


    5.7. leaving children under the age of 16 without supervision of an adult;


    5.8. consumption of alcoholic beverages by persons under the age of 18;


    5.9. pouring water or other liquids onto electrical devices, sauna stoves, or other technical equipment, as well as scattering ice;


    5.10. entering or staying in premises intended exclusively for SPA Centre staff and closed to visitors;


    5.11. smoking on SPA Centre premises. A penalty of EUR 200 shall be applied for violation of this prohibition;


    5.12. individuals or groups occupying SPA Centre areas in a manner that restricts or hinders their use by other visitors;


    5.13. consuming food and beverages brought from outside throughout the SPA Centre premises, including changing rooms;


    5.14. using computers, cameras, video cameras, and other devices with photo and video recording functions in changing rooms, showers, and other privacy areas;


    5.15. interfering with the work of SPA Centre staff, including distracting them with conversations or actions that hinder the performance of their duties;


    5.16. chewing chewing gum in pools, saunas, or other SPA Centre areas;


    5.17. remaining underwater for prolonged periods;


    5.18. organizing or participating in breath-holding competitions underwater.

    1. VISITOR LIABILITY


    6.1. It is prohibited to bring into the SPA Centre any food, beverages, glassware, or other glass items brought from outside. For bringing glass items into the SPA Centre premises, a penalty of EUR 100 shall be applied, and the visitor may be removed from the SPA Centre without refund of the admission fee.


    6.2. In case of loss of a key or electronic wristband (chip), a penalty of EUR 25 shall be applied.


    6.3. For gross insult of SPA Centre staff, as well as failure to comply with their lawful instructions or remarks, a penalty of EUR 200 shall be applied.

    Medical and spa procedures are carried out in the same building where guests stay, and meals are provided in a separate restaurant building.

    The presence of a salt cave allows for the prevention of respiratory organ diseases.
